firm/studio: N H J Westlake, London

Church of St Mary, Caernarfon, Gwynedd
south wall of the south aisle (window number: sII)

In memory of L.W.G. Hughes of Coed Helen who died 13 June 1910. The window bears the Coat of Arms of Coed Helen.

Another window of the same subject by Westlake from the 1920s, at the Church of St Lawrence, Bradwell, offers an interesting comparison with this window, see Buckinghamshire Stained Glass. Although stylistically the window is close, the design is across four lights and uses different cartoons.
