Angels hold the text: 'Mary hath chosen that good part which shall not be taken away from her' (Luke 10:42).
Given in memory of Mary Lewis (1814-56).
An early work by the firm, the window demonstrates their work prior to the arrival of the designer Robert Bayne. The firm of Heaton, Butler & Bayne carried on until the early 1950s.
