1932

Two-light window with standing figures. Both figures are dressed as bishops and hold croziers, David with the dove of the Holy Spirit at his ear and Deiniol holding a set square.

artist: Christopher Charles Powell

Church of St Mary, Trefriw, Conwy
south wall of the sanctuary

Given in 1932 by the widow of Revd John Gower, rector of the parishes of Trefriw and Llanrhychwyn for 44 years.

The window is dated 1937 in the lists of windows published by the British Society of Master Glass Painters in 1939 and 1952, but, given the date of the correspondence surrounding its commissioning, and the date of 1932 on the window, this looks like a mistake.
