James is shown dressed as a pilgrim, and below him a scene with Josias, prior to their martyrdom, with James' words to Josias "Peace be to thee". Margaret is shown subduing a lively red dragon, and below is shown standing before the Governor of Antioch, professing "I am not afraid of thy death". Badges of the armed forces below, with further symbols above including the dove of the Holy Spirit.

Church of St Margaret, Crynant, Neath Port Talbot
east wall of the chancel

Signed and dated with the firm's mark, also detailing that the window was designed by H. Martin, and painted by Hubert P. Thomas and B.T. Evans.

The window was commissioned as a war memorial, although the idea developed into a planned scheme of windows, all designed and made by Celtic Studios between 1951 and 1966.
