Nineteenth-century copy of the original of 1525-8, 235 x 141 cm in the Galleria Nazionale, Parma, Italy. Presented to the chapel of St David's College, Lampeter in 1827 by John Scandrett Harford of Falcondale, Lampeter, to serve as an altarpiece. It remained in situ until replaced by the present reredos in the 1930s, since which time it has hung in the chapel in the (liturgical) south aisle.
