I wonder if you could help me.......St Johns Church Garndiffaith was my family church and the stained glass window dedicated to George Edwards was dedicated to my grandfather who was the church organist for many years. Could you please tell me what has happened to the window. I did enquire about the window when the church first closed but was never told what was going to happen to it. I would be very grateful for some information.
Many thanks

Editor's response: I have not been to the church since I photographed the windows in 2011. The vicar of Blaenavon may be able to tell you what has happened to the church. Generally, when a church building is sold, the windows are sold with it, unless they have been taken out prior to redundancy. Perhaps another reader visiting this page will be able to help.
