Signed and dated by the firm.
Given by public subscription in memory of Morduant Elrington Bisset, rector of the parish 1896-1909.
The window makes reference to the legends that both Paul and Joseph of Arimathea visited Britain, which were popularised in the nineteenth century. Lucius was a British king who was also associated with the Christianisation of Britain, according Bede's Ecclesiastical History, Geoffrey of Monmouth and other medieval writers.
