Church of St Winefride, Holywell, Flintshire
(liturgical) north transept (Chapel of St Winifrede)

Fundraising for the sculpture began in 1893 and about £400 was paid to the sculptor. It was carved in Rome, and blessed by Pope Leo XIII in the Vatican before being shipped to London in 1896. It was finally brought to the Holywell in 1901 and formally unveiled in 1904, before being moved to its present position in 1909.
