Altar of St Winefride

Altar on which stands a statue of Winefride, with the healing of the daugher of Jairus on the front of the altar, and Christ with Angels at the top of the structure, over angels holding the IHS monogram.

The altar originally stood at the east end of the church, to the left of the main altar, but was moved to the newly created St Winefride's Chapel in 1909. The altar was described in detail in the Flintshire Observer, 9 November 1860.
