Standing figure holding a martyr's palm and church.

St Winifrede's Well and Well Chapel, Holywell, Flintshire
well gardens

The statue was given to the Church of St Winifrede early in 1876 by Lady Southwell, the daughter of Sir Piers Mostyn, and was made in Dublin. It stood to the left of the high altar, and was brought out of the church to the well gardens after their creation, probably in about 1930.

Information on the statue kindly provided by Tristan Gray Hulse.
