Isaiah, David and John the Baptist
from Figures from the Bible and Saints

The sanctuary windows comprise five three-light windows with standing figures. The figures, from left to right, are Noah, Abraham with Isaac, Moses, Isaiah, David, John the Baptist, Christ flanked by Mary and John, Mary Magdalene, Peter, Stephen, and the Welsh saints Llure, David and Afan. The windows also include family heraldry and inscriptions below, and the instruments of the Passion above. Isaiah stands holding a book, David plays the harp, while John holds a cross, pointing above. Family heraldry below, with inscription surrounded by leaves and fruit decoration, and shields above with the crown of thorns and three nails.

Given in memory of the Venables family. Most of the figures were installed in 1883 although the central window was installed last, in 1885.
Some figures were reused cartoons by Wyndham Hope Hughes from Holy Trinity, Stirling, reconfigured in these windows with newer designs that Adrian Barlow attributes to Kempe's chief designer of the 1880s, John Carter.
