The figures and curtain backgrounds were painted by William Glasby, and both figures were originally designed by Edward Burne-Jones. The figure of George was originally designed as a figure for Michael, and the figure of Michael was originally designed as Joshua.
Given in memory of Captain A.D.H. Grayson, T. Williams, E.S. Jones, D. Hearn, J. Jones and R.H. Jones, who all died in the First World War.
