A. O. Hemming (1843-1907)
Stained glass designer. Alfred Octavius Hemming initially trained as an architect in Edinburgh, and joined the firm of Clayton & Bell in 1868. He established his own firm in 1883 on Marylebone Road in London, which continued as A.O. Hemming & Co. until about 1940. In 1930 the proprietor was Rupert H. Corbould.
