John Pollard Seddon (1827–1906)


Architect and designer. John Pollard Seddon worked with John Prichard on various projects in south Wales, notably Llandaff Cathedral, as well as restoring many other buildings. He also worked as a designer of furnishings, and increaasingly collaborated with other architects, including John Coates Carter. He was closely associated with members of the Pre-Raphaelite circle, with whom he worked on the restoration of Llandaff Cathedral. One of his best known works is now the Old College of Aberystwyth University.
