Harry Ellis Wooldridge (1845-1917)


English painter and musician who studied at the Royal Academy Schools, London. He worked as an assistant to Henry Holiday and helped him with cartoons for the stained glass manufacturer James Powell & Sons. While enjoying a successful career as a painter, he continued to design stained glass for Powells and also designed furniture. He was also an expert in early music.
