Edward A. Woore (1880-1960)
Stained glass artist and designer. Edward Woore studied under Christopher Whall at the Central School of Arts and Crafts and was later his assistant. After the First World War, he made windows in his own studio as well as designing for other firms. He was also a close friend of Karl Parsons, completing many of his commissions after Karl Parsons' death in 1934. Woore also worked with Arnold Robinson on many windows at the Bristol firm Joseph Bell & Son. Shortly before his death in 1960, Woore retired to Wales.
