William Miller (1803-after 1881)

Stained glass artist. William Miller trained as a plumber and glazier but had developed his business to produce stained glass by the late 1840s, based at 32 Brewer St, Golden Square, Soho, London. There has been some confusion between his work and the older Joseph Hale Miller, although the connection between them remains uncertain.

His worked seems to have been favoured by John Prichard in the Llandaff diocese, although windows can be attributed to him in North Wales at Henllan and Llandwrog.

For further details see biography on Sussex Parish Churches.
