Medieval church, parts of which date back to the fourteenth century, probably on an early medieval site. Restored in 1870-2 by Benjamin Ferrey for Sir Watkin Williams Wynn, whose family have many memorials in the church. From 1980 the building has been shared with a Roman Catholic congregation.
