Church (Anglican)

Medieval church dating back the twelfth century, although little survives of this date. Further building in the fourteenth century, the choir extended during the fifteenth century. Tower around 1510-20 at the expense (£2000) of Edward, Duke of Buckingham. There were repairs in 1831 and restorations in 1856, probably by T.H. Wyatt, and in 1928, by W.D. Caroe. Church raised to parochial status 1923.
