Church of St Tydfil, Merthyr Tydfil
formerly in: Glamorgan
Diocese of Llandaff
Church (Anglican)
Church on a medieval site, rebuilt in 1820-1, and subsequently transformed by J.L. Pearson between 1897 and 1901 (designs prepared in 1891). Unusually for the architect, the style is predominantly Burgundian Romanesque.
