Church of St Cadmarch, Llangammarch Wells, Brecknockshire

Diocese of Swansea & Brecon     (formerly: St Davids)

Church(Anglican)

Church built on a medieval site, the present building by W.D. Caröe of 1915–16 replaces an earlier church, itself only restored in 1890. The church is dedicated is Cadmarch, with alternatives proposed as Camarch or Cadfarch, although the river Cammarch flows through the village and is the most likely source of the place-name. There are good grounds for Tysilio and Cynog being the patrons of the church during the medieval period.
